Came across this today and did some testing on my Pulsar F01 with various polling rates and a quick comparison of 1000dpi vs 1600dpi as the right combo of both can make or break optimum performance.

Essentially the forus is on 3 plotted graphs, the Counts for x/y, Interval and velocity for x/y, what they mean:

Counts:
The more consistent the pattern that the dots follow, the more accurate the sensor is.

Velocity:
This shows how well the sensor copes with rapid motion and the more consistent the pattern is, the more accurate it is.

Interval (Updates):
This graph displays the latency between the mouse being polled and the system receiving an input; lower and more consistent times are better.

This is what my F01 resulted with:

I think what this told me was that 4000Hz is the best balance of latency and tracking consistency. 8K has more jitter and the obvious downside to battery life, meanwhile 1k and 2k are smooth but often have a wider spread of data points.

I also tested the Keychron M6 which maxes out at 1000Hz, also set to 1600dpi:

And for the lols making sure the graphs are reading correctly, the Logitech MX Master 3S which is factory-fixed to 125Hz, though I also have it at 1600dpi:

8ms latency with spikes up to 15
