The wife came home this morning in a bit of a state

Some bloke in a white van blocked her car in on the main road and verbally battered her and accused her of driving past and smashing his wing mirror off , bearing in mind the road in question isn't even on her route to dropping my son... yeah my son was in the car to . She said she'd tryin to explain she hadnt bin near there but apparently he wasn't having any of that untill , as my other half says " he must have twigged as he just got back in and drove straight off " , he's happaned to mention out of his raging mouth this is a road he seems to be working on . I'm tempted to go up and ask for an apology . But we know how these things can go .

Anything I can or should do ?

Call 101 and report him for threatening behavior, might at least get him a little visit and a friendly chat to remind him not to be a **** in future.

The way of the world these days, people would rather rage and intimidate rather than admit fault or think things through. The world we live in sadly, for the most part anyway.

Exactly. Because if you have to ask the question, I'd wager you're not the sort who can handle himself in a scrap. So we'll all get hours of entertainment when you get chinned.

Go, go, go! :D

I feel sorry for you. You think like I do :p

Let's face it if you were the sort of person that would storm off and demand an apology you'd have just done it without needing to ask.

What Burnsy said, I'd be more inclined to go around and have a chat, not a "word" with him and then if he's working there and he's not the guy who owns the company - have a word with the company.

When I was privately employed my boss would have given me a written warning for that sort of conduct, he'd be in bother especially if it's a company that relies on word of mouth for business but in the future the wife should take out her phone and start recording.. always the best way tbh.

TBH if you actually want to give the guy a scare, phone the police and report him - don't go and politely request an apology :p

lol good luck with that. What do you think will happen here ? The old bill don't even attend when you report a bleeding burglary so you'll have little chance getting them out for a bit of verbal, unless you add in that he was inciting religious and or racial hatred then they will send the whole god damn flying squad down........................

Marksmen gunned down the bovine after its bid for freedom from near Rising Sun Country Park saw it run across roads in a "distressed" state
Others have leaped to the defence of police, who deployed a police helicopter and, according to eyewitnesses, up to 20 police cars, as well as firearms officers
