i was with falconnet ( enta ) but they went down the pan due to poor business takeover, so i chose adsl24 ( enta ) since being with them my speed are very poor, never getting over 1100kbps when before with falcon i was getting very very good speeds. contacted support and its like speaking to a brickwall, so im requesting a mac code and im leaving.

im after a good isp, 1month contract 30g peak 300 off or there abouts, used for browsing and mostly gamming. would prefer to leave enta group all together

any ideas chaps?

Enta are probably the most lenient of the non LLU providers and one of the best, which doesn't say much. I'd agree with you, they have been terrible for me for the last month aswell. I'm pretty sure you won't find an ISP that gives you as much as Enta do, certainly not for £19.99pm anyway. If your exchange is unbundled I would go the Be/o2 route, otherwise you're probably better off staying where you are, I'm also in the same boat as yourself however my exchange isn't unbundled.

You're unlikely to get a 300GB cap at any time of the day or night without either paying a substantial amount of money or going with one of the LLU operators.

To be honest Be/O2 right now probably isn't going to be any better, they are massively over subscribed and there are huge contention issues on a lot of their exchanges. Pings for a lot of people during peak times in games are also through the roof (mine is up from sub 20ms to an average of 120 now!).

IMO with ISP's they are like all things, you get what you pay for. I'm going to Zen and just going to bite the bullet and pay their fees. Use them at work and they are in my eyes the last decent independent ISP left.

Have you performed a BT Speedtest to ensure you line profile hasn't been locked at a low setting.

I had a few issue with my adsl24 connection today so called entanet and they told me that adsl24 and titanadsl are supposed to be the best out the resellers to get issues fixed and that a lot of aquiss customers are moving to them as aquiss seems to be sitting on faults and not doing to much abou them.

Oh well still got a nice 20 mbs cable connection:D

Have you done a BT speedtest? Usually ADSL24 have a pretty good support set up. I have had no problems since I have been with them, although moving from AOHell is probably not saying much!

it seems to of sorted itself out now
changed filter an sync has not dropped for 2days so its looking ok

So you hadn't actually done any checks in your own house before requesting a mac code?

yes i had done the checks but the all failed.
i spoke to a good user on dslzone who has helped me sort this problem out and all is ok now.
mac code was not requested
thanks for all your help guys :D
