Move movies from one app to another

Hi,

I have uploaded several movies to the hd player app on my ipad using iTunes. Unfortunately hd player can't play ac3 audio.

I am currently away from home and computer and wondered if there was a way to move these files into the vlc app so that I can watch them?

I understand that ipad apps are sandboxed so it may be impossible but I wondered if anyone has any experience of this using a 3rd party file manage or something.

Any help would be great fully appreciated.

If they had been loaded into the iOS Video Player some apps like Infuse can read and play the files from there but intercommunication between 3rd party apps is a no no. The closest thing is the 'Open In' menu option but then the developer has to build that into the app I believe.
