Just musing my options on how to move my current Mavericks installation to a larger SSD.
1) Install Mavericks fresh on new SSD, restore from TM.
2) Install Mavericks fresh on new SSD, restore from old installation using Migration Assistant.
3) Clone current SSD to new SSD, expand partition.
1 and 2 I'm au fait with, but 3 which seems fastest is a bit of a dark art to me on OSX. I guess I could dd it and blow the partition out once duplicated, but it just seems a little... ungraceful.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Not really interested in buying a piece of software to do this, so built in tools, open source or command line only please.
