Move VM template to ahother datastore

Hi guys

What's the best way to move a couple of templates from one datastore to another? We're getting rid of an old SAN and have Storage vMotioned all the actual virtual machines, but the templates still can't be vMotioned.

With ESXi 5.5 do you still need to convert the template to a VM, vMotion it to the new data store then convert it back to a template? I would have just browsed the datastore and used Move To but people say that's not recommended for some reason

You can do it either way but converting it to a vm is easier and means you don't have to remove it from the inventory first.
