Hey , Currently have windows on an old SSD , I've recently gotten an M.2 Drive and want to put windows on that instead. I plan to do a fresh install of windows, but wondering the best way to go about this, and also how i change the drive letters around from the M.2's allocated X:\ to make it C:\ , I know i can change letters in Disk Manager but want to know the best way so i don't mess it up... I can't remember how i did it when i first installed it on an SSD!

Best way is to clone the old SSD over to the new SSD using Acronis or Macrium Reflect.

Then just change the boot drive priority in the BIOS after cloning has completed.
(Or just shutdown and physically disconnect the old SSD, then you know it's using the new drive).

If you are going to do a fresh install then you will want to make a bootable Windows 10 USB and then install this onto the M.2 drive. You can then boot to that drive and if you want to copy anything over from your SSD you can.
