In my old house i set my wireless network up with no hassle. I had the Linksys router wired to a pc and had 2 laptops connected wireless. Now in my new house i have the same setup but cant get the the 2 laptops to connect wireless. They can both see the network but it keeps failing on Authentication. Ive checked the WPA2 key and they are identical on each machine. Ive tried changing the key and they still cant connect, even without security they cant connect. Do i need to reset the router because im in a different house? Some1 mentioned mac cloning, not sure if that has anything to do with it?

I dont think that using third party firmware would do the trick really, but it could do in the long term?

What I would do is:
Reset the router and wait till it does it light sequence thing. Refresh for signs of wireless networks on the laptop(s) and try connecting again.

If that doesnt work, I would be checking any MAC Address filters against the laptops true MAC address using CMD and 'ipconfig/all'. Other than that check for any static IP Addresses that may have been set on the wireless connections.

hope this makes sense, and most importantly helps!!

Good Luck ;)
