Moved to the dark side, 5950X question

Sorry new to AMD architecture so bit of a newbie Q

I finally after 15 years am transitioning to the dark side and have bagged myself a pre-ordered 5950X

Will a MSI X570 AM4 MEG X570 UNIFY Motherboard work out of the box with a 5950X or will I need to flash the bios?

The awkward position being if I need to flash the bios how can I do that if the cpu doesn't work in the first place. It does say on the box ryzen 2nd and 3rd gen so hoping that should suffice without a bios patch?

No worries, I have 2 of them, a X570 and Z490, really good motherboards tho I'll probably be selling my X570 one

There is no dark or light side. It's just Blue and Red, until Nvidea/ARM arrives with Green for their Risc-based home PC's.
