Of all the music tracks I hate this one tops it, Why the hell do I care about the moves of someone else on a dance floor?, what's next a sequel track I got the moves from my next door neighbour

"I don't need to try to control you / Look into my eyes and I'll own you / With the moves like Jagger / I got the moves like Jagger / I got the mooooooves like Jagger."

What idiot's come up with words like this :o

Of all the world's problems, this is what you've picked on?

Find me one song from the charts with deep and insightful lyrics, that isnt dredging the barrel of human emotion.

"... this is a little bit frightening, we may as well be playing with lightning..."
"... boom boom boom, you;re brighter than the moon, moon, moon..."
"... are we human, or are we dancers..."

I'm not particularly a fan of the track but aren't you a little bit late to the party here, it's been out for months now. If you just wanted to pick on stupid songs with Jagger in the title then Swagger Jagger as sung by Cher Lloyd is surely a better candidate for your ire?

I reckon if anybody got on a dance floor and started to dance with moves like Jagger (I presume Mick) they would look like a total ****.
His moves only work on a stage in front of 1000s.

Well actually the are we human or are we dancer song by the Killers, is something to do with psychological theory, are we human or we dancer (as in follow each other, repetitive routine)

As for the rest, well :p

i bought this song on iTunes, like I have done with most of my collection because it has a nice bit of music somewhere in it. I don't think I've ever paid any attention to lyrics and thought about their meaning in my life. (Apart from foreign songs where I try to work out what's being said.)

Got him laid though :D

All jokes aside, i could pick some much much more hate worthy tracks to pick from the current affair than this, id be interested to hear what the OP's general preference is?

Meh, some great Artists have songs full of tripe lyrics.

My personal hates are the 'opposite lyrics'. Oasis have numerous of these, but here are two that spring to mind:

"Slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball"
"I've got my mind made up now, but I need more time"

But I find it more annoying in album titles:

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Favourite Worst Nightmare
Hand Built By Robots

Arrrrgh it's not clever it's just annoying, you can do that with anything!

The Invisible Painting
Red Hot Fire Extinguisher
Dark Sunrise
The Smallest Skyscraper
Least Favourite Hero
New Primitive Technology
Arid Ocean
Ice Volcano
Supermega Microscopic
Mild Blue Cheese

I can do it all day.
