Hi anybody know of any software(free if possible) that works similar to windows movie maker(vista version).
i like the vista version of movie maker as its very simple to use where you can add transitions and music to your video but for some reason the video quality gets seriously degraded.
the video is imported from a dvi camcorder and the quality is pretty good but after i have edited it and then go to publish the quality just appears to be rubbish.
i have tried different settings and even made a new profile to increase the bitrate and its no different.
the 1 hour video is about 13gb in avi or i can import it on the 2nd setting at 1.3gb both of which are pretty good quality but as soon as i save it in wmv format its crap...as though only half the frames are being show even though they are both at 25fps...even at 30fps there is no difference.
any help would be appreciated
