I have a few div-x files on my computer that dont play with any sound, I have got the latest div-x codec, and downloaded the x-vid codec, and yet they still do not have any sound. I cant figure out why, its only with a couple of files, but I want to watch them, and I cant with out sound!
Movies have no sound!

Yup. You don't need Xvid and Divx video decoders at all. Just install FFDSHOW. I think if you select AC-3 to "on" or something in ffdshow in audio codecs section you don't need ac-3 filter either. Download gspot and use it to find out what codecs the files use.
Was the AC3 I was missing after all! Thanks for the help!
