Hey all, don't think I've ever posted in here before but I need a bit of help if possible.

I need to move a piano from East Sussex to South Essex and wondered if anyone could recommend someone to do the job?

TIA!

^^ LOL!

Anyway, what kind of piano, an upright? is it going up/down any big stairs?

They're pretty damn heavy whatever, and it'll need a good tune when it gets to the far end.
I've moved them before (uprights) with just a transit van, and some big strong men. They don't like getting knocked about.

Heh, I know nothing about pianos but it's upright, wooden and very shiny :). There's an awkward gate and a couple of steps to go up (vertical distance no more than two feet).

GOOGLE

There's immediately half a dozen there...
Yes, there's lots. Prices seem to vary wildly from £160 to £380 so I was after a recommendation as I don't want to get overcharged. Equally I don't want the guy to turn up and find out he's the PG Tips monkey.
