Moving account form PS3 to PS4 advice please.

Hi all

I’m getting myself a PS4 at the weekend for Destiny coming out next week and I’m just wondering what the process is for moving my account over from the PS3 to the new PS4.

Is it as simple as just singing in with my email address and password, or do I have to copy the account over form the PS3 with a memory stick or something?

Just sign in with the existing username and password

Your PlayStation account is cross PlayStation platform.

Sign in with the same username and password, and you're all done. No messing about.

You will have to activate the console on your account though. Not required but if you want to use things like remote play or download to your console from the store via the net you will need to.
