Moving Alienware Aurora components into a new case

Hi All,

I am new to the forums and could do with a little advice.

A few weeks a go I purchased an Alienware Aurora R4 ALX and have been very happy with it. Originally thinking the case was quite smart I have now decided that I would like to replace the case with something less large and heavy.

I wondered whether I would be able to move the Alienware components over to a new case with relative ease? Also, at this stage I would take advice on any potential upgrade.

Current Spec:

i7 3820 3.6GHz
16GB Ram
120GB SSD
1TB HDD
Alienware Water Cooling
AMD RX480 8GB GPU

Does anyone know whether the power supply can be moved across. The current one is a Dell 875W.

Any help would be much appreciated, sorry if I have missed any information. Just let me know should you need any further information.

If just purchased I'd check it won't void your warranty, some pre built manufacture don't like customers going inside let alone recasing

It's a second hand unit which is a couple of years old so no worries on the warranty.
