I hate groups that go they live on $1 a day ect. they don't need money, they don't need a proper education. They need to learn how to fend for themself's. Get the food and get the water. Once they can survive, then they need to start the education and other things.

Grr stop banging on about there education and money and actually help these people where they need it.

Politically correct tosh. What films like that never tell you is that one of the main reasons they are in the situation is because they hate the person next to them, their religion tells them to hate the person next to them, their own governmets are corrupted and waste the massive amount of aid money they get. The world is just overpopulated, period.

If it did just have 100 people on it, those problems wouldn't exist. If it had 100 million people on it, those problems won't exist, if it had 1 billion people on it, those problems probably won't exist. As it has 6 billion and growing people on it, those problems do exist.

You seem far too quick to dismiss it is rubbish, its aim is to highlight how fortunate we are and it does that rather well.

They are statistically not large enough to count as 1 unit of 100. The ENTIRE UK population only just breaks 1% of the world.

With such a tiny % count, they are all included in the statistics in that video.

You've missed the point, these are simple statistics which have been knocked down to an easily digestable number. Of the worlds population, x% live here, x% dont have a house, x% have this or that.

The very first page says that "with todays proportions", the following would be true of 100 people.

We have a winner - just about exactly what I was going to say.

It is never pleasent to see people suffering, but the long term solution is not 'aid' it is population control coupled with education.

Am I completely off base here but isn't the reason why there are so many kids living poverty is due to each family having 10+ kids due to lack of (or refusal to use?) birth control? Also a reason why most of them have AIDS isn't it? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
