Hi i am wondering if you guys have some info and advice in moving abroad and working in Amsterdam.
Now that the UK Has left the EU, its now difficult and unclear how i can work and live there.

I understand that i will now have to apply for a work permit as a specialist skill and was wondering what else i need to do in order to make the jump?

If i am successfull in getting a permit, is it straighforward in opening up a bank account there that will then be used to be paid for my work there and also pay for rent?

In the UK its quite difficult to get a bank account for foreigners here and wondering if its the same over there?

How long until living and working ther ecna i apply for citizeship and/or the ability to buy a property there to settle down?

Anyways thanks for reading this and much appreciate any feedback or sources i can read up on.

If there is anything i am missing besides a bank account and a work permit, please let me know.

Does your employer not have some kind of guidance or are you self employed?
I am self employed at the moment.

I would love to do freelance contracting work like how i do here but there aint a big market for it over there. Mostly perm so if i wanna move there, it will most likely be a perm gig

Everything you need can be found at: https://www.government.nl/

For me, it was easy as it was years ago when the UK was still in the EU.
Apply for a BSN by the local council, declare where you live, get medical insurance (within 3 months of arrival). Done.

As far as being self-employed, I'm not sure how easy it would be for you to set up over here.
