Moving Apps from a MacBook to iMac?

Hiya guys,

I have some apps that are installed and registered, all on this MacBook i'm using now.

I plan out getting a iMac this weekend, so that will be my primary computer.

How can I get these apps from one to another? Music/Photo's/Email are on an external harddrive, but what of the apps?

I recently bought the MacHeist bundle of apps, some are really great but I've deleted the .dmg files and I'm not sure I can download them again and use the serial numbers again?

Yea I've seen that a few times, but how? I mean it's not that advanced to do so over the wired/wireless net is it?

Is it possible to simply burn the apps to cd? Its not like Windows where they are imbedded is it?

I thought apps are moveable, but I'm not a 100% sure.
