moving data drive from one pc to another, possible?

I have a second hard drive on my pc that is in two partitons and full of data (music, photos etc). No part of the windows OS is installed on it, to my knowledge. My question is, can I simply unplug it and plug it into another windows xp pc and be able to carry on use it?

Its formatted in ntfs if that makes a difference.
