Moving domain to new registrar

Hi,

Looking for some advice about how to move my domain from Planet Hippo. PH has been down (hacked) for 4 days now. I gave them the weekend to sort things out, things looked like they were improving when the main PH site came back online. Now it is back to redirecting to spam so I guess they have been hacked. Only slightly good thing is my site is just unavailable rather than redirecting to spam/prn/etc.

Issues are that I can't contact PH and the domain is locked to PH but I can access anything online. I would like to do this as quick as possible as I can't get any emails just now which is a big issue.

Any suggestions?

What type of domain is it?

If it's .co.uk call nominet's domain dispute resolution and advice service tomorrow morning on 01865 332244.

They'll tell you what needs to happen.

Go with one of the big name domain registrars. I use Namecheap myself and haven't had any problem with them at all. I used to use GoDaddy but got fed up with their advertising tactics so switched to Namecheap and haven't looked back since then.
