Moving from a DG834T to DGND3300 - More Range?

Looking at getting a new ADSL Router. Currently have a Netgear DG834T, am looking to upgrade to something that will give me more range.

Can I expect an improvement in range from a Netgear DGND3300?

Would this be a good move?

I think that you will only see a benefit if all your devices are `N` class,i could be wrong though
That router does have a few extras like QOS
Have you tried a higher gain antenna for the GT first?
