Moving from ADSL Max to LLU

Hi

I'm not really up to date with broadband so apologies if this is a silly question. Been on ADSL max (6.5mg connection) for a number of years with Plusnet (happy customer). Now aware that my exchange has a couple of LLU providers and apparently that includes possibly upgrading to Plusenet LLU.

My question is will LLU improve ping performance in online games. I see that Plusnet have a 'pro' option that prioritises gaming traffic. Cost wise there is only a couple of £s in it.

You sure it's PlusNet LLU provided by Tiscali/TalkTalk or is it 21CN?

I doubt you'll see a reduction in ping.
 
Your current adsl connection is probably interleaved, and that plusnet sound like they have the option to put you on fastpath which does reduce ping slightly
