hey up guys... well,

got a problem we (me and 5 friends) are moving into a house in september and want to transfer an account from Be* to our new house but the current occupents have got virgin... im guessing this is going to incur a big cost from BT to get the line switched over right?, could u let me know ur experience with this whole malarky as we really don't want to be stuck on virgin in that area (i know virgin can be good but the area it is in is notorious for its connection problems on virgin)

thanks

what area is it? ask for other members opinions on it..

personally I'd take cable over dsl anyday

BT will more than likely charge you something ridiculous like £150 to active the line.

My colleague is about to move house and he specifically wrote to them to make sure his line was cut off in Aug so they decided to cut the line in July and give his number to someone else.
