Hey guys,

I've been a FF user for well over 3-4 years so this feel a bit weird, but I've heard good things about Chrome. These are the FF extensions I use and need a Chrome alternative for:

  • Firebug - Now this one is a bit of an issue as I use it to download streaming content on websites so if I can't do that then it's of no use. The "Lite" variation doesn't seem to be able to do that.

Also any suggestions? Anything that works with FlashGe, etc? Keep the suggestions coming ...

I've found Chrome to have less lag and not hang as much as FF. The Inspect Element feature in Chrome is what I need as I can download the media files behind streaming content. Sadly Firebug though uglier does it better as you can right click and open a new tab to download it, in Chrome I have to copy the URL ...

For me the appeal for Chrome is that it's something new and fresh. Been using FF for so long that i wanted something different. Doesn't mean I wouldn't switch back though.

I feel like Chrome's scrolling is a bit heavier ironically than FF and the back button not having a tiny arrow for drop down does feel a bit off.
