Moving from HD599s to GSP600s

Will I gain anything (other than a mic) by moving over from my HD599's to a gaming set such as the GSP600/670's? It will be paired rightly or wrongly with my GSX1000 as well.
Just fancy a change but need to know from the pro's if it's worth while?

Likely no.
In fact with GSP600 being closed design, something which isn't Sennheiser's speciality, it could actually be worser for accuracy.

If you want improvement to gaming immersion Creative's "Project Accent" bringing head shape customizable Super X-Fi HRTF to sound cards would be way biggest factor.
Mad Lust Envy tested Creative's likely average headphones with Super X-Fi HRTF and found that to be way best at tricking brain to think sounds are positioned in real positions.
Which really isn't any surprise because of physics:
That "upstair's guy" forgot to standardize human head shape.
So all some average head model based HRTFs are likely at least somewhat inaccurate for most people.
