Moving from Pipex

Hi Everyone

I want to move from my current ISP (Pipex Solo 1000) and look for something else.

Pipex service has become slow over the past 12 months.

i'm currently on 1mbs connection, but I would like to move onto 2mbs, when I check on the BT site, it says 1mbs normal, or 3.5Mbs max.

Some ISP sites are telling me that I can have upto 3.5mbs and some are only saying 1mbs connection, I'm confused.

Can anyone help and recommend another ISP

You can't. It's either 1Mbps at fixed rate, or 3.5Mbps on Max.

The most an ISP can give you without using Max is 1Mbps, so what's the most an ISP which doesn't use Max (or hasn't updated their checker appropriately) is going to be able to offer?.

More parameters might help too, like budget, usage level, monthly or annual contract, etc.
