Hi

Running 2x GTX260 216 in sli for a while now. There getting a bit long in the tooth and so im wondering if there's anything at the lower end of the budget in single card form worth looking at?

Budget would be £150 ideally at a push. Not been keeping up with the graphics game recently so no idea if there's anything better for the price.

Any advice appreciated.
 
You could pick up a 6950 when the MSI cards come back in for £197!, and then flash it up to a 6970 to unlock all the shaders and 6970 clocks! It's an easy mod, plenty of tutorials on the web!
The bios is backed up on these cards anyway, and you have yourself a £270 card! Done!
The shortfall could be made up by flogging your old cards!
 
£150 was including flogging the 2 cards for about £100 no idea if GTX 260s sell for more than that now. Didnt think anything would better my SLI setup for my budget so the 6950 for £200 is a bit out of my budget.

Oh well hopefully they handle crysis 2 okay lol
