Moving house. Where to get boxes from?

supermarkets? ask at customer services, or go to your local recycle point, should be a cardboard collection there and hopefully some intact flattened boxes?

I remeber when supermarkets used to have LOADSSSSSSSS of boxes to take away, they don't seem to do it anymore.

If not, staples?

big yellow self storage sell them but take out a loan, boxes arnt cheap as im moving this week and have spent loads on them already

Go into the supermarket and ask, they have to recycle them these days which is why you dont see them out the back like you used to. However when I was moving they said if I came in and asked then they would get me some from out the back.

I was lucky in the end with the majority of boxes I needed, my sisters fiance works for a removal company, and he got me some, and one of my best mates Mum works in a factory, and she robbed me some as well.

most supermarkets now don't do it because before they had to pay someone to take them away so they hoped people would use them, nowadays they supermarkets get paid to recycle them from the government.

Lidl would be the best place because they're not big enough to be rewarded from the scheme or you can look in the argos

Try the likes of homebase on a Tuesday wednesday.

Thats when they get 2 of the biggest deliverys,

Well was when i worked there.

tesco's is the best place for box's.

although the big shops close at 4pm on a Sunday i would try a extra store for some.

ask for banana box's as they are very strong and come with lids as well.

i have used these box's many many times and they are probably the best for moving as you can stack them safely.

extra is the big stores dude, they close at 4.
Little express ones will be open but won't be much good for boxes.

I'd try a cardboard recycling point, else an office shop will have loads.

any self storage place will do box packages.
some removals companies will loan some to you as well.
