Moving into shared office - security info

I am moving into a serviced office on Monday where they supply you with telecomms and broadband but I wanted to check if there was anything I need to do to ensure my laptop will be secure and that others using the same boradband connection wont be able to access my laptop.

Setup will be as follows:

Switch - Netgear ProSafe GS105 5-port Gigabit Switch connected to building broadband via RJ45
Laptop hardwired to switch via RJ45
Printer/scanner/fax connected to switch via RJ45
NAS drive connected to switch for backup via RJ45

Laptop is running Win 7 home premium.

Previously the laptop has been set to allow access to anyone on my home network but assume that this will need to be changed?

Is the broadband and LAN definitely shared?

I dont know? I assumed there was a possibility but then again I could be completely wrong?
