I've been trying to move my ITunes library off of my primary hard drive but can't seem to work it out.
Currently my library is in the usual default location on Win 7 (C:\users\xxxxx\itunes). However, all of my non-ITunes music is on another drive (H:\music) where I would also like ITunes media to go. I've taken a look at a couple of guides and this is what I have done:
But this doesn't seem to have done anything. If I look at any of my ITunes downloaded stuff its still referencing the file on the C drive, not the H drive. This is verified by changing the name if the ITunes folder on the C drive which results in ITunes not being able to find the file.
Have I missed something obvious?

- Changed location of ITunes media folder in ITunes Preferences to H:\music\itunes
- Copied ITunes folder to H:\music
- Started ITunes whilst holding Shift and pointed ITunes to database in new location
