moving lightroom folders

if i have lightroom on 2 computers and process some photos on one of them

can i move the folders with the photos, and the lightroom edits folder to the other computer

so that once i have finished editing a set of photos i can just move them all to a back up computer and keep all the edits intact ?

Lightroom has its own facility to do this (File > Export as Catalog), but as I prefer to have a catalog for each project within the folder with the photos, eg:

-D:\
--Photography
---Working
----2011-07-15 Year 8 Prom
-----RAW
-----PSD (I actually prefer to edit the PSDs in Lightroom as you can do additional editing in Photoshop while keeping Lightroom adjustments)
-----Catalog Year 8 Prom (which contains the catalog files)

And do it manually instead. Just copy the entire 2011-07-15 Year 8 Prom folder to the new PC and open the Lightroom catalog in that.
