moving music from mac to pc

have sold my macbook on ebay and moved all my music and photos from my mac to my ipod using it as a storage device,however when i try to transfer it onto my pc it wont read the ipod and says it needs reformatted?

how can i get my music and pics onto my pc?

im baffled...

Sounds like the iPod has been formatted in HFS/HFS+ which is the mac's standard format. Windows uses NTFS format. You'll need a windows program to read the mac format.
