Hi all,
I've just moved my iTunes library to a Samba share on my new little file server box.
I went into Edit > Preferences within iTunes and changed my Music Folder location appropriately to point to where my music had moved to. I then clicked Consolidate Library. It said "preparing to copy", I thought yeah no problem because it doesn't need to copy them, just iTunes sorting its database out.
Unfortunately now all my tracks have a little exclamation mark beside them, double clicking a song it plays fine and iTunes recognises where it is etc etc (right click > get info). Problem is, to be able to play each song to start with I'm going to have to go through all 4500 tracks double clicking each one!
Is there a quicker way to do this? Like I said, it picks them up fine so I don't know what its crying about ...
Thanks in advance for any help.
