Moving my prebuilt system to new case

I am moving my prebuilt system to a new case - enthoo luxe. I will be doing this tomorrow.

Can people offer me some advice please? I have never done this kind of in on my PC before. All I have ever done is install an SSD changed the GPU and added a H55.

Do I need to plug my HDs into the same spot they where originally in on the motherboard?

Anything a noob like me should know about this stuff would be appreciated.

First thing I ever done on a PC was install a stick of ram. The second time I did this something went wrong and I had to replace everything but the stick of ram I had bought. That was about 2004. So I took a step back and bought a prebuilt one 2-3 years ago. Now I'm ready to do my own after seeing how this goes.
 
Ok so I took pictures. Obviously not enough lol.

I have the long wire from my PSU (plenty of them) and they have the same connector about 6 times all the way to the end of it. Can I plug more than one thing into each wire?
 
So what about the PWM hub? That has a little warning on it telling me to read the manual.

Says "sata 12v power input".

I think my mono is that old it's not telling me the stuff it's needs to lol.

Been at it for 2 hours now and I am enjoying it. Just doing things in the wrong order lol.

Yea I have everything plugged in :)

USB is my last connector. It has got to be the front panel USB.

Then I have to sort my lighting out.

I can't imagine doing this in a smaller case with less cable management. Breeze to work with sun a case for your first time.
 
Because of the Velcro straps I had all my cables bunched up to get into them which caused some problems - bulge on side of my case. So I had to take some of the cables out of them and spread them a little more. Looks awesomely neat from the side window just needed some LEDs on my gpu or CPU heatsink etc.

Anyway had a quick test. When it boots up I get a "fan error" any ideas about that? I did a Google and they all talked about a "CPU fan problem" so not 100% the same.

I can't do anymore until tomorrow. So any helpful tips for that would be good.

Can't wait to get a full new system.
 
And it will be ok if I hat disable the monitoring of the fans? They all say "n/a" in the bios next to speed.

I would like to have some control over them.

Will my PC still ramp the fans up when the load gets higher?
 
ive gone and disabled my monitor of cpu fan. everything seems fine. ran a valley benchmark and cpu nevr passed 50C, although CPUTIN gets as hot as 92C.

still i would like to see the speed of my fans somehow.
 
oh i forgot to mention this - i found this little things that i dont recall unplugging from the motherboard once i removed it from the old case - it was like a tiny plug - similar to the front I/O panel plugs but it had a little round thing at the end of it that said speaker on it. WTF is that? is it important that i didnt stick it back on? i have no idea where it would go mind and everything seems to be working fine.
 
Everything is fine fan function wise ie. They are cooling and rpung up when things get tough.

I just want to be able to see how fast they are going. Not a big deal as like I say they are changing with load.

I couldn't find anything telling me where to put that thing so it's in my spares/screws box.
