In regards to my signature, I bought this system exactly a year ago and the warranty has finally run dry. At the time it was great as it crunched the simple video editing tasks in the not-so advanced software Pinnacle Studio 11. Although now, it's starting to struggle quite a bit!! And I'm not really surprised running dual monitors (22" and 20") with After Effects on one panel and Premiere Pro on the other. Rendering is becoming an impossible task now. It's almost pointless putting in the hours now. So I think it's time to sell, get a quad core and ati 4850 gpu card and do some overclocking (which is prohibited on Dells).

I was just wondering what I could possibly sell this system for in the current climate? Any ideas?

Cheers

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days.

I believe he also would need to wait another 3 months even after the 250 posts :P

id say about £300-350 maybe, the cannon fodder public generally pay more for a well known branded system, shame its dell as with a lil overclocking and a gfx card it would prolli make a great budget gaming system.

When you get your post count up we have a price check forum which i dont think you can see presently.

Funny thing about computers, they seem to run slower the older they get... yet they are running at the same speed as when they were new.

true, i still miss the window 2000 days (always thought that xp was bloatware, got used to it and now am on Vista), but the apps we run nowadays are rather demanding ;)
