Hi All,

Will be soon moving out of my current property and into a new one. As it is rented, I want to clean the carpets before I leave.

I was thinking of hiring a professional carpet cleaner (I mean a machine and not a person / service).

Can anyone recommend any particular type / place?

I'm interested in this...apparently because we have two guinea pigs in a cage in one room we need to 'professionally clean' the house/...

Although i think we need a person to do it :(

My carpets are actually in fairly good condition, but I know how picky letting agencies can be, and I really want my whole deposit returning at the end of the tenancy!

I'm interested in this, too. We have a biege and very thin carpet with lots of food stains from the little one. It's bloomin' awful :( Will a guy with a noisy van be able to make it as new?

Well my 4 your old has reflux and used to puke around 7 times a day.
The machine above has never failed to remove any stains.
You could do a house in a day no probs.

Ah I so have been talking about doing ours for ages. My little one chucked up the other day having eaten stupid amounts of quavers and dairily dunkers. Taken us about a week to get the smell out the carpet and the curtain he decided to wrap himself in when he did it. Nice. We use an old school thing...I'll try to think of what it's called.
