Moving out of parents house

I moved out last month at 24. I have been very fortunate though and always had a very good employer and earned decent money.

The only way you are going to be able to do it is to find a job that pays well enough for your area. Focus your attention on job hunting, then in 12 months time you might be able to afford it.

Moved out just shy of 25 and it took about a month to realise that all the years of what i perceived to be nagging about cleanliness and tidyness was, in actual fact, just plain old common sense and their desire to not be living in a pig-sty.

It was tough moving out mainly because in the beginning we spent most months being absolutely brassic, tho the bills were always paid. Even now it kills me spending money on stuff like washing powder, bog roll and toilet cleaner when there are far more important things to buy like pc components and beer!

When the time is right, you'll go for it and enjoy it when you do!

I was in a similar situation, lived with the rents for about a year after uni, till something came up and I HAD to move out, enjoyed living at home, didn't really have any restrictions, but did want out, more independance as I was used to it, just wish I'd moved out under different circumstances.

Maybe you could find someone to share a house/flat with? makes it easier, or at least it's meant to ;)
