I have an e6750, Noctua NH-U12F CPU Cooler and GA-P35C-DS3R. Im moving house this week and I want to know do I *have* to remove the heatsink from the MB or will it be able to take the journey (it will be going in my car about 1 mile, and I will be delicate!)

I'm a little worried that I might damage the MB with the weight of the cooler, but I don't know whether it can take the jolts or not.

Thanks for any advice,
Fluffy

it will be the safest option, but could you not just put your case on its side, so the weight of the heatsink is acting onto the MB?

when i moved mine i set it on its side so that the mobo was flat and on top of a few pillows . Did.nt dare drive with it up right. Weight of the tuniq + bump.... Well you do the math
