Moving photos from amazon to google photos

I have some of my photos taken on my phone stored in google photos and some stored in Amazon photos taken with my old Andriod Phone.
I have moved back to a new google pixel phone.
I want all my photos in one place back in google.
If I move my 1500 Amazon photos back to google photos will the photos from Amazon maintain all the metadata and stay on the same date and time as they were taken once they are moved across?
Will google then be able to work out and identify location etc allowing me to tag people places etc?
I want all my photos available to me on my new Pixel and in one place.
Has anyone done this before?
Any help is welcome before I start the move.

Im pretty sure it will order them by the metadata
i have photos on my phone from 2012 that i certainly didnt take and were acquired much later..

also without sounding like a ********, wouldn't it just be easier to try with 10 photos and see where they end up?
