Hi All,

In the near future I will be moving from SLI to 1 card as I will be moving from a tower to a mini ITX case.

I currently have 2 Gigabyte 560ti's in SLI which have been great and still are great to be fair.

I play pretty much a little of everything as I do 75% of my gaming on my PC. I also do light competitive gaming through cs:go.

What card would be a good swap for my 2 cards? If anything I want to future proof myself for at least a year. Spec of my pc is below in my sig, only thing that will change when I go to mini ITX is the mobo.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

P.s. I've always liked Nvidia because I am partial to digital vibrance but if AMD/ATI now have something similar, I'm all ears. It's been a long time since I really followed gfx card news etc. ahhhh the days of the x800pro pencil mod :)

To match the performance you'd want to go for a 7970 or 770. I'd go with the 7970 because of the higher memory spec, it may well make a difference over the next year. There's the GTX 780 if you want the same with nvidia, but it's around twice the price of a 7970.

I came from a crossfire 6970 set up to a single GTX770 and I could not believe how much smoother in games now.
As the guy above you should wait to see what AMD are bringing out though.

They're totally fine for existing games, but if you want it for 1 year+ I'd be looking at the 7950/7970.

I've been doing some reading about this fcat issue with AMD cards, can anyone comment on how this will effect fps games? Makes me slightly cautious about an ATI card now though in the past I've loved their product range
