Moving to a new flat, no internet for 2 weeks

Hi.

i will be moving to a new flat and wont have internet for 2 weeks.

Are there any temp solutions such as grabbing a 4g sim or something and tethering?

need at least 1GB usage. That should be sufficient for a couple of weeks of browsing an maybe the odd youtube video.

Does playing online games hammer the data usage?

3g dongle pay as you go? Not sure if the 4g ones are on the market yet as we don't have 4g around these parts.
