moving to micro atx, bit of help

hey everyone, now that i'm heading to uni i want to move to micro atx so i can transport it easier. i've bought a lian li v350.

so i'm looking to change just the mobo for now and upgrade the cpu and gfx later on. i'd prefer a mobo with 4 memory slots, onboard audio is also important, and something that's a decent clocker.

also what's the maximum height for cooler i can install in a v350 without modification, and what's the best cooler for it?
 
You need to tell us a bit more than that - what socket for starters! :p

For the cooler, Scythe Mini-Ninja. ;)
 
oh sorry totally forgot thta point, yea LGA775, currently i have a e6600 but will be wanting up upgrade in the near future

EDIT: should i go for a ddr3 board, or is there no massive advantage over that yet?

No point in a DDR3 board stick with DDR2 will save you a bit of cash ;)
