Going to convince the folks when they get back off holiday to move to O2. It gets enabled at monday in our exchange. :)

How much hassle is it to switch ISP? How much hassle is it to switch from Tiscali?

Thank you.

You need to contact Tiscali and get a MAC code of them. Its a long code with letters and numbers in it.

Once you get it, all you need to do is go on the O2 website and there should be a switch button instead of a new customer. In there you should be able to type in your MAC code and all your details and it should automatically switch over in about a week or so.

I did this with BT to ADSL24 and it was very smooth.

Wont be as smooth as that if Tiscali have their line on LLU with line rental as well as BB. Is the phone line with Tiscali as well as the BB?

i am with nildram my self and want to switch to BE on the 30th. The only thing that worries me is trying to keep the e-mail address.

Is there anyway this can be done?

No, just the broadband.

Question.

Would we still be able to use the Tiscali email addresses?

Awesome. :)

Said on Samknows that it was the 30th but it would seem it is now available. :D

Just have to wait for my folks to get back off holiday now.

Does anyone know how it works with BT Business? For some unknown reason, by boss has a BT Business line and I can't call them today as they are only open to 1.

Wanted to move to Be.

It's the same for every BT Wholesale or SMPF ISP - get MAC, give MAC to new ISP, get switched some point (usually around a week) later.
