Moving Windows 10 license issue

Built a new PC I had a license on my old pc which I deactivated, I then went to my new pc and when I put the license key in its still saying 'we can't activate windows on this device because the product key was already used on another device.'
Any idea why? Does it take time to process or should it be instant?

The licence is tired to your MS account depending on what key you have. But if you call MS support (you find the free number when you look under Troubleshooting) they will give you a new key or force the activation. I have had this problem a few times before.

Think the numbers still(0) (800) 018 8354 enter your product key say you have it installed on one machine and then the will give you a long number to type in and it will activate.
