mp3 Bitrate conversion

Hi all,

basicly is it possible to get some software to convert all of my mp3s on my computer to a lower bitrate so the will fit on my phone i.e from 320kbps to 128kbps or lower if possible

Am I right in guessing you don't have the original media to re-rip from? If you do that would be better since converting from 320->128 doesn't give the same quality as ripping at 128. Anyway, musicmatch jukebox can do it. I wouldn't advise going below 128 btw.

If you have the original cd's, get audiograbber, select high quality box, it's internal encoder rips to 56kbps and the sound is very good on my nokia 6230 despite the low bitrate.

audiograbber doesnt user the latest verion of the lame encoder, so make sure you gfrab that if you do because its a lot better
