MP3 editing software?

Hi guys, I need to edit some music I have, basically cutting them down a tad.

Is there a free app out there that's reliable?

You will find more like free utilities in the Audio Tools (CD Ripping/Recording/Editing etc) section...

Andy, I use some command line tools called mp3splt and mp3wrap along with Audacity to edit mp3 recordings from radio. mp3splt as it suggests can create a seperate mp3 from the start and end time you specify. Then to join a few together mp3wrap does that.

They'll both command line utils and available on soureforge: mp3splt found here and mp3wrap is here.
