Is there any software that will go through my music collection and auto tag? I've got tons and don't fancy going through it one by one. I've been using Tag & Rename but it doesn't let you do this. Most of it has been tagged so it's mainly a case of adding the art.

I used it on my music collection a while back to tag 20+ GB of music that was untagged. Worked brilliantly. It recognises the music signature and finds the correct tags or allows you to choose from a list and you will see a before<>after display before going ahead.
All fine tuning thereafter was done with MP£ Tag. You can simply right click a folder and select "MP3 Tag".

Not great for album art in my experience. Best all round I've found is oddly the Zune manager, but you can't do loads at once, just album by album.
Under OSX I've settled on Picard and then the dreaded iTunes to get album art.
Album art is a non issue really as they can be added later very quickly. Either music players can fetch art based on tag info (naturally) or you can embed cover art with MP3 Tag in batches per track for any given album. I did the latter as I like to have all album art embedded directly into the mp3 or flac file.

Thanks for the replies, I've lightly dabbled with MP3 Tag before but never really delved into it. I've now had a go and it's pretty easy to use. However, when I use Tag & Rename I can save a copy of the art to folder.jpg as well as embedding in the tracks. MP3 Tag also does this but can't see the file in the folder. I get the option to overwrite if there's a folder.jpg file there and I've got show hidden files on so not sure where it's saved.
