MP3 organiser that auto creates folder structures?

foobar2000 lets me mass copy files from a playlist to a directory and rename them, but it can't put them in folders. I want to not only rename the files but automatically create folders of %artist% and within that %album% - is there a prog that does this?

did you not install the "file operations" component during foobar setup? that allows you to move/copy to a new folder structure based on your tags. just re-run the installer over your current setup.

I have not used Foobar, but Musicbrainz will do that for you, plus IDv3 tag all the files as well

I always found iTunes to screw over my folders, maybe I just didn't set it up correctly

Hmm. It works fine for me. Just make sure you've got it set to organise your media and it puts it in %Artist%/%Album% format.

I did, but I didn't realize you could just put slashes in the filename to indicate folders. :\

Problem solved.
