mp3 player advice

Hi all,

Im looking at getting my g/f an MP3 player for b-day which is mid march. Ive been looking at the I-Pod shuffle (1GB) for her, im going to whack a load of tunes on that means something to us.

Anyone any opinions or suggestions on other MP3 players??

I dont want to spend a fortune one one as it is a very expensive month for me as its our 9 year anniversary, her B-day, her mums B-Day, my mums B-Day and mothers day

Any suggestions gratefully received!

The 1GB shuffle is very expensive for what it is, personally id get a USB drive one which has an LCD display.

Have a look at the Irivers. I have a large 20gb h100 series one. But if their smaller ones are anywhere near as good as the big ones then it should rock.
