Been looking into mp3 players... is the nano the only choice?

It has a clip and is small though the touch screen on the tiny screen is a concern.

Any other options?

I just use my old 4th gen Nano. I really don't like the tiny screens either. Should be able to pick one up dirt cheap on eBay.

People will tell you a Sansa Clip+ all day long...

Its tiny.
Stunning sound quality on a flat EQ.
Cheap.
Expandable memory.
Has a clip.

Had the original Clip, and recently upgraded to a Clip+ with a 32gb card shoved into it.. I have an ipod Video for general use but its no use in the gym (skips and is too bulky), have tried nano's and shuffles and didnt get along with them.
Get the Clip, and a set of CX300 headphones and you wont go far wrong.

The Sansa clip seems to have a lot of people complaining about it, on the jungle.

how people can find fault with the sansa clip+, i really don't know. tis awesome. and it reaches a whole new level of awesome if you rockbox it.

i suppose the only thing people can have valid concerns over and that is the battery life. you only get around 15 hours out it but given it's size and price, i can think you can forgive it for that.

i'm too poor to fork out for a 32gb micro sdhc card like the chap above - they're still over 50 quid. but a 16gb card is 16 quid or so. pair that with an 8gb clip+ and you have 24gb in your pocket for less than 60 sheets. what else comes close to that? :D

I've been using my clip solidly for over a year at the gym, can't recommend one enough. Great sound quality, cheap, decent battery and its a tough little bugger. Mines been dropped, knocked around and even survived a spin in the washing machine!

Trying to work off a few of those pounds Mr Craptakular? :p

Stop eating all of that mexican food!

I use the latest ipod shuffle. Very happy with it. Just the right combo of size/price. I manage playlists for it on the pc. The relatively small storgae encourages me to keep my lists fresh as well
